Michael Jones, Judan (10th Dan) instructor

Michael Jones

Michael has been training in Ninjutsu since 2004. After dabbling in other forms of self defence, Michael's attention was brought to Ninjutsu and has been dedicating his time to it ever since. It wasn't that other disciplines were bad, it was just that Ninjutsu was that good.

"It was as if the 'martial arts rulebook' had been thrown out of the window and I was given a glimpse of what I could be capable of if I was willing to work at it. How hard I could punch or how high I could kick were no longer relevant. Those questions were now replaced with, how can I exploit weaknesses? And how quickly can I do it?"

To further his understanding of Ninjutsu, Michael has spent significant time in Japan, learning from the leading practitioners of Bujinkan Ninjutsu and is a frequent visitor to Japan to this day.

In 2019 Michael was awarded his Judan (10th Dan) while training at the Honbu dojo in Japan (Under the guidance of Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi). A feat that he largely accredits to Shihan Ryan Hobbs and Dai Shihan Marc Moor, who each have played major roles in arming him with the skills needed to continue his martial arts education at a higher level and share his knowledge with new students.

Randa Richards, Judan (10th Dan) instructor

Randa Richards

Randa has been training in Martial Arts since 1998. Her introduction into martial arts came through Shotokan Karate where she trained from a young age and would later earn her first martial arts black belt.

Not until the age of 17 did Randa discover Ninjutsu where she would then multi train and divide her time between Karate and Ninjutsu. As time passed, Randa found herself devoting more time to the various Ninjutsu dojo's across South Wales and England, leaning more towards the subtlety and realism of Ninjutsu.

Like Michael, Randa has made several trips to Japan to this day, continuously seeking to develop her discipline and knowledge through the teachings from the Bujinkan Honbu Dojo.

Randa was awarded her Judan (10th Dan) in 2019 while training at the Honbu dojo in Japan (Under the guidance of Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi). A feat that she largely accredits to Shihan Ryan Hobbs and Dai Shihan Marc Moor, who each have played major roles in developing Randa’s training throughout the years.
